The Importance of Beliefs

Joan of Arc fought for her beliefs. At the age of eighteen, Joan of Arc said just before she was burned to the stake, “Every man gives his life for what he believes. Sometimes people believe in little or nothing and yet they give their lives to that little or nothing. One life is all we have. We live it as we believe in living it and then it is gone, but to surrender what you are and live without belief is more terrible than dying.”One of the most important things we need to remember is that this nation was built upon honor. Men and women were not afraid to die for their beliefs, their God, and their freedom. They understood that a man can still find happiness with nothing but his beliefs, but that without his belief’s he has nothing. Our founding fathers of this incredible nation were men of wisdom and virtue. They loved the Lord their God. They showed Him the highest respect and gave up their property, their sacred honor, and even their own live for Him. Because of our founding fathers who fought for their beliefs and because of the providential hand of God we have America and we have liberty. But it did not come cheep, nor does it come cheep now. Freedom is not free. And the only way we can keep our freedom is to preserve it. The Constitution is the document that protects all our freedom; without it we are slaves. To protect and preserve the Constitution is one of the most important things we can do for our country, ourselves, and our families. We cannot protect the Constitution if we do not know it. We need more people who have the same attributes of our founding fathers. People who are not only well educated, but who are courageous, virtuous, respectful, and who love and obey God. But where and who are these people? Ladies and gentlemen, we need to be these people. We are the ones who have to take a stand and preserve our freedom, and preserve what America truly is. We must, or all is lost. America need you, We need you, and most importantly God needs you. Can we be the people today to say, give me liberty or give me death?!

Why a blog?

Hey everyone! I wanted to create this blog because I feel like we (especially the youth) don't express our beliefs enough. Just like the blog's title, "Speak truth, Fight for Truth, and Live the Truth" is exactly what this blog is for. Feel free to bring up certain topics, thoughts you may have, or questions concerning current events, past events, the gospel of Jesus Christ, or anything you feel the world needs to know. Please also be conciderate and smart in what you say. Also, SITE YOUR SOURCES! I cannot tell you how important that is! This is a blog for truth, and not just your own opinions. Also, Please be kind. I don't want this blog to be argumentative or a debate blog. Of course there will be opostion posted on a certain matter. I ask that you keep in mind to reflect the attributes of Jesus Christ. I hope you will all enjoy this blog and that it will be a great "eye opener" and a great and fun learning experience for all. Thankyou!
